As Above So Below! The Surreal becomes real.

As Above So Below! The Surreal becomes real.

I don’t know about you, but I am starting to feel this whole situation is becoming rather SURREAL!
Between this on-going Covid crisis being politicized, denials, fear and conspiracy theories abounding, the
Prez having one of his comfort rallys in AZ, a state where disease is on the rise as well as fires burning,
racial tensions from sea to shining sea, and NOW, Tuesday, the great unveiling of Bolton’s memoir! Fun,
no? Crazy, yes? Anyway, what better Tarot Deck to consult but one created by one of the Master’s of
Surreal, SALVADORE DALI! The term “Surrealism” is based on “the belief of a higher reality, the
importance of the spontaneous stream of consciousness, the absolute power of dreams and the free
play of thoughts and that seemingly opposite states of dreams and reality can dissolve into a form of
absolute reality—surreality.” So using THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE spread, let’s peak into the wisdom of
today’s message using DALI TAROT UNIVERSAL by Johannes Fiebig. (and , spoiler alert, I found the
reading to be quite positive overall!)
Position 1. What turns The Wheel? KING OF CUPS reversed: “Strong emotions and intense desire are
essential features of this King.it is a negative symbol reminding us of the unpredictability dangerous
scientific experiments. Instincts, presentiments, temptations and often confusing needs have to be dealt
with firmly. Do not be afraid of confronting taboos and the dark side—but do not become too fascinated
with them either.”
Position 2. What outer change will come? THE CHARIOT reversed: “This card symbolizes the way of
desire which is the path towards fulfillment of sensible desires and the ability to let go of unfounded
fears. Assume full responsibility for shaping your life path. You cannot get off the chariot or relinquish
your own karma, but you can strike off in a new direction. Right attitude can help you accept and
develop the positive aspects you encounter but also empowers you to avoid or let go or, alternatively,
integrate and master the bad.”
Position 3. What inner change is possible? 6 OF RODS: “Do not be intimidated and don’t intimidate
others. Stand up for what moves you and go for it wholeheartedly. Reconcile your inner child with your
own animalistic aspects. Make peace with your own imperfections and say good by to immature habits.
Acknowledge the differences between as well as unification of the feminine and masculine. You can
finally “grow up”.”
Position 4. What new situations will we face? KNIGHT OF WANDS: The message is “Become who you
are!” This is your life’s mission. You possess an incredible amount of energy. You bring light into the
darkness. You help those who are weaker than yourself. Commit yourself to meaningful projects that
will benefit many people. Where darkness is greatest, your light is most needed.I t is here you will
discover your life’s purpose. Start your journey now!”
Position 5. What rises? KING OF SWORDS reversed: There is a danger in entertaining false beliefs in a
state of worldly innocence. Success or failure depend very much upon your ability to question yourself.
Use your mental powers to to try and understand what you do not know of yourself and others—and
what you cannot know. The peaks of knowing include the limits of our knowledge as well as the realm in
which knowing is transformed into believing.
Position 6. What falls? 8 OF CUPS: The journey to your personal destiny. Do not become too restless or
you may miss your goal. Replace nervousness with purposeful action. Feel and trust your inner flow.
Position 7. What is at the center? QUEEN OF SWORDS: Prejudices and fears constitute self imposed
obstacles and may prove unfounded when carefully analyzed. This is a card of release from your fears
and in new openings in matters of the heart. Ensure clarity in your decisions and behaviors. Look at your
concerns from all possible angles. Swords reveals alternative ways to realize your unfulfilled needs. Use
the weapon of the mind to liberate yourself from external and internal constraints.
