09 Apr WISDOM OF WOLF
I have been asking Divine Source direction vis a vis the Covid virus and the general projection of events unfolding over the past two weeks. Having collected over 70 Tarot decks and Oracle cards since I began reading in 1967, I thought it would be interesting to allow them all to weigh in from time to time. Today’s message comes from WOLF.
NURTURE CONNECTIONS: Gray Wolf’s power comes from understanding the intricacies of our bonds with each other. “Let words and speech become background babble, instead focus on eyes, and the twitching muscles of the jaw.” This is how you learn who to trust-how you learn who leads. (could this be speaking to us paying attention to our leaders or would be leaders?)
“Play and tend”, build the bonds of tribe, a sense of wholeness. You are a shimmering thread in a larger tapestry, part of the intregal weaving of family and community. ( “We are all in this together.”
In Cherokee culture, obsession with individuality is seen as sickness; wellness is derived from the pack, from the tribe. When a member of the community becomes ill, healing must happen not only for the individual but also for family, friends and community. Our culture demands individuality and acheivement. Wold teaches you to be pack. Create a life where you shine for both yourself and others. So Howls the Wolf! wisdom from The Illustrated Bestiary by Maia Toll
